Slice the steak to fit your pan. Dry it with a paper towel and sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides.

Warm some oil in a big skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if you like it more done. Let the steak rest on a plate after cooking.

On low heat, melt butter in a separate pan. Toss in the garlic and stir it with a spatula until it gets lightly golden. Quickly take it off the heat and spoon it into a bowl before it burns.

Cut the steak against the grain, drizzle on the garlic butter, sprinkle with parsley, and enjoy while it's hot.
