01 -
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and let it get hot.
02 -
Find a baking tray or dish that can go in the oven. Cover it with parchment paper or spread a little cooking spray to keep things from sticking.
03 -
Put the salmon on the lined tray, with the skin facing down. Keep some space between each piece, so they cook evenly.
04 -
In a small pot, slowly melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until it smells amazing.
05 -
Mix parsley, lemon juice, zest, thyme, and rosemary into the butter sauce. Keep stirring for about a minute until it all comes together.
06 -
Take the pot off the heat. Spoon the buttery garlic mixture over the salmon, then sprinkle salt and pepper on top to season everything. Make sure it's covered well.
07 -
Pop the tray in the oven and let the salmon bake for 12-15 minutes. You'll know it's done when it breaks into flakes with a fork.
08 -
Check the top of a salmon piece with a fork. If it’s flaky, it’s ready to eat.
09 -
Take the salmon out of the oven and allow it to rest for a couple of minutes. Then serve it up with whatever side dishes you like.
