2-Ingredient Biscuits (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Biscuit Basics

01 - 2 cups (240 g) of self-rising flour or a gluten-free mix you prefer
02 - 180 ml of water, milk, or a non-dairy alternative

# Instructions:

01 - Spread on some melted butter if you'd like. They’re great warm with jam, gravy, or fried chicken—whatever you’re feeling.
02 - Pop the rounds onto a baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes until they puff up and have a golden glow.
03 - Take the dough to a floured spot and press it down gently to about 2.5 cm thick. Use a glass or cutter to make circles.
04 - Turn your oven on to 220°C to heat it up. In a big mixing bowl, stir the flour and your chosen liquid into a sticky mixture.

# Notes:

01 - Going dairy-free? Use almond, oat, or soy milk, and skip the butter finish.
02 - Handle the dough lightly! Overworking makes biscuits dense instead of soft.
