Flank Steak Marinade (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds flank steak.
02 - 2 tablespoons lime juice.
03 - 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil.
04 - 2 tablespoons light brown sugar.
05 - 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce.
06 - A pinch of kosher salt.
07 - Some black pepper.

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together olive oil, soy sauce, lime juice, and brown sugar in a big bowl.
02 - Drop the flank steak into the marinade and make sure it’s fully covered.
03 - Let it soak for a minimum of 30 minutes or up to two hours for more flavor.
04 - Take the steak out and gently pat it dry using a paper towel.
05 - Sprinkle a bit of salt and pepper on both sides.
06 - Grill it on medium-high for about 5 minutes per side.
07 - Broil under high heat, flipping after 5 minutes on each side.
08 - Make sure the inside reaches 130°F for a perfect medium-rare.
09 - Set aside for a few minutes, then cut it into slices against the grain.

01 - Great for cooking on grills or using the broiler.
02 - Avoid soaking the marinade too long.

04 - Rest the steak before slicing.
