Put the steak chunks in a big bowl and sprinkle them with salt and pepper. Pour ¼ cup of firecracker sauce on top, toss it all together, and leave the steak to absorb the flavors for about 30 minutes at room temp.

Heat up the oil in a skillet on medium-high heat. Spread the steak pieces out evenly in the pan and fry for 1-2 minutes per side until browned perfectly. Take them out of the skillet and leave them aside.

Turn the heat down to medium, then pour in the rest of the firecracker sauce. Stir and let it bubble for a minute or two to make it a bit thicker. Put the steak back in, stir it so it’s coated in sauce, cook for another 30 seconds, and then remove from heat.

Plate the steak chunks right away. Pour any extra sauce over them for extra flavor, and sprinkle green onions on top if you’d like.
