Funfetti Cinnamon Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cinnamon Mixture

01 - 1 tablespoon cinnamon
02 - ½ cup white sugar

→ Dough Basics

03 - 3 tablespoons sugar
04 - 8 tablespoons soft butter, split
05 - 1 large egg
06 - ¾ teaspoon salt
07 - 3½ teaspoons instant yeast
08 - 2¼ cups plain flour
09 - ½ cup milk
10 - ⅔ cup rainbow sprinkles (keep some aside for topping)

→ Sweet Glaze

11 - ½ teaspoon vanilla
12 - 3 tablespoons milk
13 - 1 cup powdered sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Toss together cinnamon and sugar in a tiny bowl. Leave it for later.
02 - Beat butter, sugar, and salt together. Throw in the egg, milk, yeast, and flour. Stir till dough's smooth. Sprinkle in the colorful bits. Let the dough rest in a cozy spot for 1½ hours.
03 - Stretch the dough into a 9x12-inch rectangle. Cover it with butter, scatter cinnamon sugar mix and extra sprinkles on top. Roll it into a log and slice into 8 pieces.
04 - Pop the roll slices into a buttered 8-inch cast iron pan. Wrap it up and chill overnight. When ready, let the rolls warm up in a cozy spot for 90 minutes.
05 - Bake at 325°F for 32-34 minutes till they’re golden all over. Cool for 15 minutes. Spread the glaze (made from sugar, milk, and vanilla) on top. Sprinkle with the remaining colors.
