Beat butter, sugar, and salt together. Throw in the egg, milk, yeast, and flour. Stir till dough's smooth. Sprinkle in the colorful bits. Let the dough rest in a cozy spot for 1½ hours.

Stretch the dough into a 9x12-inch rectangle. Cover it with butter, scatter cinnamon sugar mix and extra sprinkles on top. Roll it into a log and slice into 8 pieces.

Pop the roll slices into a buttered 8-inch cast iron pan. Wrap it up and chill overnight. When ready, let the rolls warm up in a cozy spot for 90 minutes.

Bake at 325°F for 32-34 minutes till they’re golden all over. Cool for 15 minutes. Spread the glaze (made from sugar, milk, and vanilla) on top. Sprinkle with the remaining colors.
