Easy Sausage Pancake Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Protein

01 - Cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage

→ Liquids

02 - Maple syrup, to mix in and as a topping
03 - Water

→ Dry ingredients

04 - Pancake mix

→ Dairy

05 - Cheddar cheese, shredded

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) to get it ready.
02 - Break apart the sausage as you cook it in a hot skillet over medium heat. Stir it for around 10 minutes, or until all pink is gone. Put it aside for later.
03 - Mix together water and pancake mix in a big bowl. Stir gently so the batter stays light and fluffy.
04 - Carefully combine the shredded cheese, crumbled sausage, and maple syrup into the batter. Don’t over-mix.
05 - Drop about a tablespoon of the batter into each mini muffin slot.
06 - Cook in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes until they're golden and fully baked through.
07 - Keep baking until all batter is used, making roughly 48 mini pancake bites. Enjoy warm with extra maple syrup for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - Make sure sausage is fully cooked before adding it. The short baking time won't be enough to cook raw sausage.
