Easy Salted Caramel Cream Cheese Frosting (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 100 grams of softened butter.
02 - 115 grams of softened fromage frais.
03 - ¾ tsp sea salt.
04 - 400 grams of confectioner’s sugar.
05 - 80 ml of thick caramel sauce.

# Instructions:

01 - Whip together the softened fromage frais and butter in a mixing bowl until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
02 - Gently mix in the sea salt, caramel sauce, and confectioner’s sugar on low speed until the sugar is mostly combined.
03 - Turn the speed to high and beat it for about 2 minutes until the texture becomes light and creamy.
04 - If it’s too thick, mix in a splash of milk. If it’s too runny, throw in a bit more confectioner’s sugar to thicken it up a bit.
05 - Either use the frosting right away or transfer it into a sealed container and pop it into the fridge. Before using it the next time, let it warm up to room temperature and give it a quick whisk to refresh its texture.

# Notes:

01 - This frosting goes perfectly with desserts like chocolate, vanilla, or even pumpkin-flavored baked treats.
02 - If kept in the fridge and sealed well, this frosting stays fresh for up to 7 days.
03 - For an intense caramel taste, pick a caramel sauce that’s dark and rich in color.
