Easter Nests Chocolate (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 100g golden syrup
02 - 6-8 full-size Shredded Wheat biscuits
03 - 100g unsalted butter
04 - 200g dark chocolate, broken into pieces
05 - 200g milk chocolate, chopped up

→ Topping

06 - 100-200g of tiny Easter candies

# Instructions:

01 - Crumble the Shredded Wheat into small chunks in a large bowl. Set it to the side.
02 - Warm the butter and syrup together on low heat in a pan, stirring occasionally until the butter dissolves. Turn off the heat and mix in the milk and dark chocolate until smooth.
03 - Pour the warm chocolate blend over the crumbled Shredded Wheat and stir it well.
04 - Scoop the mix using two spoons or a cookie scooper, and shape nest-like piles on a baking sheet topped with greaseproof paper. Place three little Easter candies on each nest.
05 - Pop the tray into the fridge and leave it until the nests harden up completely.

# Notes:

01 - You can replace all chocolate with 350g dark chocolate or 500g milk chocolate if you prefer.
02 - Swap Shredded Wheat for 80-100g of another cereal if you want.
03 - These can last fresh for more than a week in storage.
04 - White chocolate doesn’t mix well with the butter and syrup here.
