Crunchy Chickpea Snack (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for some heat)
02 - ½ tsp smoked paprika
03 - ½ tsp garlic powder
04 - ½ tsp black pepper
05 - ½ tsp salt
06 - 1 tbsp olive oil
07 - 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, rinsed and dried

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 400°F (200°C) and get a baking sheet lined with parchment.
02 - Lay out the chickpeas on a paper towel, then pat them down until they're as dry as possible. Dry chickpeas make crunchier snacks.
03 - Mix the chickpeas in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne if you'd like it spicy.
04 - Spread them in one layer across the prepared baking sheet. Pop the tray into the oven for 25-30 minutes, giving it a shake midway through baking to help them cook evenly. They should turn crispy and golden.
05 - Take them out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. They'll crunch up even more as they sit.

# Notes:

01 - Keep leftovers in a tightly sealed container for up to 4 days. If they start to lose their crunch, toss them back in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 5-10 minutes.
