Cabbage Rolls Crock Pot (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
02 - 1 teaspoon of paprika powder
03 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
04 - 1 pound of lean ground beef
05 - 6 cups of chopped cabbage (from a small head)
06 - 1 cup of raw Minute rice
07 - 2 ½ cups of water
08 - 14.5-ounce can of petite diced tomatoes (with juice—garlic and olive oil flavor preferred)
09 - 1 teaspoon of freshly cracked black pepper
10 - 28-ounce can of tomato sauce
11 - 1 teaspoon of sugar
12 - 1 ½ teaspoons of garlic-flavored salt

# Instructions:

01 - In a big pan, brown the ground beef with the garlic and onion until cooked through. Remove any leftover grease.
02 - Put the cabbage, Minute rice, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, spices (black pepper, garlic salt, paprika, and sugar), and water into the slow cooker. Stir in the cooked beef.
03 - Cover the slow cooker and let it cook. Use the low setting for around 4-5 hours or high for about 3-4 hours. Wait until the cabbage and rice soften up nicely.
04 - If it seems too chunky, pour in some water or broth to thin it out. Serve it up with a bit of shredded cheese on top if you like.

# Notes:

01 - Want it thinner? Pour more water or use broth like chicken or beef during cooking.
