Crispy Spicy Shrimp (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Shrimp

01 - About 25 medium shrimp (1 pound), cleaned and peeled
02 - Season with ground black pepper and kosher salt to your liking
03 - 1/2 cup of cornstarch for coating
04 - 2 beaten large eggs, for dipping
05 - 1/4 cup oil for frying (like canola)

→ Sauce

06 - 1/2 cup of chili garlic sauce with sweetness
07 - Zest of 1 to 2 lemons, depending on taste
08 - 2 tablespoons of honey for sweetness
09 - Juice squeezed from 3 tablespoons of lemon
10 - 1/2 tsp of Sriracha (add more for heat)
11 - 1/2 tsp of grated fresh ginger
12 - 1/2 tsp garlic salt for flavor

# Instructions:

01 - Clean your pan and mix the sauce ingredients. Heat them on medium-high until boiling for 2 or 3 minutes.
02 - Warm a large amount of canola oil in a big saucepan over medium-high heat.
03 - Give your shrimp a good seasoning with the salt and pepper. Dust with cornstarch, and dip into the egg right before frying.
04 - Fry only 4 to 6 shrimp at a time. Let them turn golden brown in 2-3 minutes, and put them on paper towels to drain.
05 - Mix your cooked shrimp into the sauce so it’s all coated. Serve while hot with a side of rice or veggies.
