Cranberry Pecan Brie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
02 - 8 oz brie cheese wheel, with rind removed

→ Maple Honey Drizzle

03 - 2 tablespoons maple syrup
04 - ¼ cup packed brown sugar
05 - 2 tablespoons honey
06 - 1 tablespoon butter, unsalted
07 - Pinch of nutmeg
08 - Zest from one orange
09 - ½ cup pecan halves, roughly chopped
10 - ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
11 - ¼ cup dried cranberries

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 350°F and let it warm up.
02 - Put the brie on a rimmed pan or a small cast-iron skillet. Sprinkle the top with brown sugar and bake for about 12-15 minutes, until soft. Leave it to rest for 5 minutes.
03 - Mix the butter, honey, maple syrup, packed brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange zest in a small pot on medium heat. Once it starts boiling, lower the heat. Stir once in a while, and simmer until it gets foamy, around 1-2 minutes.
04 - Toss the chopped pecans and dried cranberries into the heated mixture and stir gently.
05 - While the brie is still warm, pour the pecan topping over it. Serve alongside crackers or slices of baguette if you like.

# Notes:

01 - For the best taste and texture, serve the brie while it's still warm.
