Set the oven to 350°F and let it warm up.

Put the brie on a rimmed pan or a small cast-iron skillet. Sprinkle the top with brown sugar and bake for about 12-15 minutes, until soft. Leave it to rest for 5 minutes.

Mix the butter, honey, maple syrup, packed brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange zest in a small pot on medium heat. Once it starts boiling, lower the heat. Stir once in a while, and simmer until it gets foamy, around 1-2 minutes.

Toss the chopped pecans and dried cranberries into the heated mixture and stir gently.

While the brie is still warm, pour the pecan topping over it. Serve alongside crackers or slices of baguette if you like.
