Cranberry Apple Crisp (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 big apples, peeled, de-seeded, and chopped into 1/2-inch chunks.
02 - 12 oz cranberries (they can be fresh or frozen).
03 - 1/2 cup regular white sugar.
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
05 - 3 tablespoons plain flour.
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice.
07 - 1/4 cup white flour.
08 - 1/4 cup soft brown sugar.
09 - 3 tablespoons white sugar.
10 - 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans.
11 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
12 - 2 tablespoons butter, cold and cubed.
13 - Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving).

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to heat up to 375°F. Spray a 9x13 dish with nonstick spray.
02 - Mix the cranberries, apples, sugar, plain flour, orange juice, and vanilla together in a big bowl. Toss everything well and put it in the greased dish.
03 - In the same bowl, mix flour, both sugars, chopped pecans, and cinnamon. Use your hands to blend the butter into this mix until it feels crumbly. Spread this topping evenly over the fruit mixture.
04 - Pop it in the oven for about 45 minutes, or until the fruit is soft and juicy and the top is golden. If the topping starts browning too fast, add foil over it for the last 15 minutes.
05 - Cool it down for 10 minutes. Add a scoop of ice cream on top, then dig in and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - Frozen or fresh cranberries work fine.
02 - If the topping browns too much, cover it with foil.
03 - Let it cool down before serving.
