Grab an 8x8 pan and cover it with parchment paper.

On a low flame, stir together the white chocolate, condensed milk, butter, vanilla, and salt. Don't heat too fast or it'll scorch—stir until it's velvety, maybe 5-7 minutes.

Turn off the stove, then stir in the black dye until it looks dark and coal-like.

Pour the mixture into the prepped pan. Sprinkle on any decorations if you're using them.

Let everything cool down naturally, then pop it in the fridge covered for at least 8 hours or leave it overnight.

Use the parchment edges to lift it from the pan. Cut into small 1-inch squares.
