Christmas Slush (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups orange juice.
02 - 5 cups cranberry juice.
03 - 4 liters cherry-flavored soda, like Cherry 7-Up™.
04 - Fresh cranberries to top it off.
05 - Orange slices for decoration.
06 - 2 cans (12 ounces each) frozen lemonade concentrate.
07 - 1 1/2 cups (300g) white sugar.
08 - 4 cups of water.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat up sugar and water in a big pot on high. Keep stirring every now and then for 3–5 minutes until the sugar's gone.
02 - Take the pot off the heat. Pour in the cranberry juice, orange juice, and lemonade concentrate. Stir it well until the frozen lemonade is all mixed in. You’ll end up with 4 quarts total.
03 - Let it cool to room temperature. Once that’s done, transfer it into a big, freezer-proof container with a snug lid. Freeze it overnight.
04 - Scrape the frozen mix with a fork to get icy chunks. Scoop about 1 cup into a lowball glass. Pour cherry soda on top and finish with cranberries and orange slices for a fancy touch.

# Notes:

01 - Ends up making roughly 4 quarts of slushy base.
02 - Needs a full night to freeze.
03 - You can prep this a few days in advance.
