Chocolate Banana Loaf (Print Version)

01 - 1 cup (168g) semi-sweet chocolate chips, plus extras for sprinkling on top
02 - 1 cup (168g) milk chocolate chips, plus extras for sprinkling on top
03 - 3 very ripe bananas, mashed (about 1¼ cups)
04 - ½ teaspoon kosher salt
05 - ⅓ cup (73g) vegetable oil
06 - 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
07 - 1¼ teaspoons baking soda
08 - 1 cup (200g) packed light brown sugar
09 - 2 large eggs, at room temperature
10 - ½ cup (59g) cocoa powder
11 - ⅓ cup (77g) sour cream, at room temperature

# Instructions:

01 - Turn oven to 350°F and coat your 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
02 - In a big bowl, stir together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking soda.
03 - In another bowl, mix the oil and brown sugar. Then stir in the eggs and sour cream.
04 - Pour in the mashed bananas, chocolate chips, and wet ingredients into the bowl with the flour mixture. Gently stir until it all comes together.
05 - Pour the batter into the pan, sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top, and bake for an hour. Cover with foil and bake another 20 minutes.
06 - Let it cool in the pan, then take it out, cut it up, and dig in.

02 - The riper the bananas, the better the flavor
03 - Freeze it for up to 3 months if needed
