→ Topping & Decor

11 - Chocolate shavings or chopped nuts, for garnish
12 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
13 - 235ml (1 cup) heavy cream

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven on to 180°C (350°F). Coat three 9-inch round cake pans with grease then dust them with flour.
02 - Stir together cocoa powder, sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt in a big bowl. Add in milk, eggs, and vanilla; mix until you get a smooth batter.
03 - Split the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
04 - Slide the pans into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. The layers are done when a toothpick comes out clean.
05 - Take the pans out of the oven and leave them to sit for 10 minutes. Then move the layers to a rack and let them cool down all the way.
06 - Use a double boiler to melt the chocolate chips, then mix in the heavy cream until it’s glossy and smooth.
07 - Put one cake layer on a plate. Cover it with ganache, then whipped cream. Repeat this stacking for the other layers.
08 - Put whipped cream on top and sprinkle with nuts or chocolate shavings. It’s ready to serve!
