Cheesy Pasta Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound penne pasta.
02 - 1 pound Italian sausage.
03 - 1 medium onion, diced.
04 - 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes.
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced.
06 - 4 cups chicken broth.
07 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese.
08 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese.
09 - Salt and pepper, as you like.
10 - 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs.
11 - 1 cup cherry tomatoes (optional).
12 - 2 cups fresh spinach (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Chop the onion, mince garlic, slice sausage, and have your pasta and liquids ready.
02 - In a big skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until it’s nicely browned.
03 - Toss garlic and onions into the pan. Stir them around until they’re soft and smell great.
04 - Pour in the pasta, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth.
05 - Turn the heat down after boiling. Let it gently simmer until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is gone.
06 - Mix in the cheeses until they’re smooth and melted. Season with salt and pepper.

# Notes:

01 - Stir now and then so pasta doesn’t stick to the pot.
02 - If the sauce feels too dense, splash in a little milk.
