Cheesy Pepperoni Pastries (Print Version)

01 - 2 tubes of Pillsbury crescent dough
02 - 8 mozzarella cheese sticks, halved (makes 16 pieces)
03 - 1 package of sliced pepperoni
04 - 1 tsp dried basil
05 - 1 tsp oregano
06 - 1 tsp garlic powder
07 - 1 large egg
08 - Marinara for dipping (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 375°F and let it warm up.
02 - In a small bowl, stir basil, oregano, and garlic powder together.
03 - Crack the egg into a small bowl and whisk it until smooth.
04 - Pop open the crescent roll dough. Lay out one triangle flat, add a cheese stick to the wide part, and arrange a few pepperonis over the surface. Roll it from the big end toward the skinny tip. Put the rolls on a plain baking sheet. Brush the top with the beaten egg and sprinkle with the mixed seasonings.
05 - Cook in the oven for about 15 minutes or until they turn golden. Pair them with marinara if you'd like.
