Chocolate Chip Cheesecake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - 1 tbsp vanilla extract
02 - 2 cups chocolate chips
03 - ½ tsp salt
04 - ¾ cup butter, melted and unsalted
05 - 1 egg yolk
06 - ½ cup white sugar
07 - 2 cups regular flour
08 - 1 egg
09 - ½ tsp baking soda
10 - 1 cup brown sugar, packed

→ Cheesecake Filling

11 - 8 oz soft cream cheese
12 - 1 tsp vanilla flavor
13 - ¼ cup white sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven to 325°F (165°C) and cover cookie trays with parchment.
02 - Stir the salt, flour, and baking soda in one bowl. In another, blend the melted butter with the brown and white sugars. Mix in the egg, yolk, and vanilla, then add the dry mix bit by bit. Toss in the chocolate chips to finish.
03 - Blend the soft cream cheese with the sugar and vanilla until it’s silky smooth.
04 - Roll dough into balls, push in a hole, add the cheesecake filling, and cover the spot with more dough.
05 - Bake for 15 to 18 minutes. Let them cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then move to a rack to finish cooling.

# Notes:

01 - Put the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes to make it less sticky.
02 - Adding flaky sea salt before baking gives them a tastier kick.
03 - Every bite combines gooey cheesecake with soft chocolate chip cookies.
