# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - A little bit of salt, adjustable to your liking
02 - Pepper, add as much or little as you prefer
03 - 1 medium Vidalia onion, chopped into bite-sized pieces
04 - 8 tablespoons of butter
05 - A small green cabbage, around the size of a football
06 - 1/3 cup of mayo
07 - One 10-ounce can of condensed cream of chicken or mushroom soup

→ Topping

08 - Around 30 Ritz crackers, crushed into rough pieces
09 - 3 tablespoons of butter, melted
10 - A cup of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded fresh

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 2-quart baking dish lightly with nonstick spray or a little butter.
02 - Slice the cabbage into chunky bits. Drop some butter in a pan and let it melt. Toss in the cabbage and onion, and cook them for 8-10 minutes. Keep stirring so they soften but don’t overcook.
03 - Sprinkle in some salt and pepper while the veggies are cooking. Tweak the amount to suit your taste buds.
04 - Pour the softened cabbage and onion into the baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
05 - Stir the mayo and soup together in a separate bowl till they blend perfectly. Spread this creamy mix over the cabbage in the baking dish.
06 - Combine the crushed crackers, melted butter, and grated cheese together in a bowl. Mix till combined but don’t overdo it.
07 - Evenly sprinkle the cheesy cracker topping over the cabbages in the dish.
08 - Pop the dish in the middle of the oven and bake for 30 minutes. The topping should come out looking golden and crunchy.
09 - After pulling it out of the oven, leave it to cool for a bit. Serve warm and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - Prefer a different soup flavor? Swap out chicken for mushroom.
02 - For a crunchier top, add a few extra minutes to the bake time.
