Butter Sausage Parmesan (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Garlicky Buttered Sausage

01 - 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
02 - 3 tablespoons of butter
03 - 1 teaspoon of an Italian herb blend
04 - 1 pound of Italian or smoked sausage, cut into slices
05 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil

→ Rich & Creamy Pasta

06 - 12 ounces of penne or fettuccine (your choice)
07 - 2 tablespoons of butter
08 - 1 cup of Parmesan cheese, finely grated
09 - 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
10 - 1 teaspoon of powdered garlic

→ Spices & Toppings

11 - A sprinkle of black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon
12 - Chopped parsley for a fresh kick
13 - Salt as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Cook sausage slices in olive oil on medium heat for about 4-5 minutes each side. Take them out once browned.
02 - In the same pan, melt butter and toss in garlic. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes, then add back the sausage and season it up.
03 - Cook your pasta in salty water until it's slightly firm to the bite. Drain it when done.
04 - Melt butter, pour in cream, and stir in garlic powder. Mix Parmesan little by little until smooth. Add salt and pepper as you like.
05 - Coat the pasta with the sauce, pile on sausage, and sprinkle parsley and Parmesan to make it pop.

# Notes:

01 - For the best flavor, shred Parmesan just before using.
02 - A splash of pasta cooking water can fix a too-thick sauce.
03 - Toss in greens like spinach or even mushrooms for variety.
