Broccoli Rice Casserole Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups of fast-cooking white rice.
02 - Half a cup of unsalted butter.
03 - One medium onion (white), diced.
04 - About 4 cups of freshly chopped broccoli.
05 - One can (300g) of cream of chicken soup.
06 - 225g of soft French processed cheese (such as Vache qui rit), split in half.
07 - Half a cup of whole milk.
08 - A third of a cup of crushed chips, like crinkle or plain.

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot at 175°C.
02 - Cook the rice following the instructions on the box.
03 - Using butter, gently cook the onions and broccoli until tender.
04 - Stir in the soup, half the cheese, and milk, warming everything until it's nice and smooth.
05 - Mix the cooked rice into the cheesy mixture and move it all into a baking dish.
06 - Sprinkle the rest of the cheese and the crushed chips on top.
07 - Place in the oven for 30 minutes, or until everything is beautifully golden and bubbling.

01 - You can swap fresh broccoli with frozen.
02 - Wait to add chips until right before baking.
