Blueberry Cake Simple (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries (about 10 ounces)
02 - 1 1/2 sticks (6 ounces) cold unsalted butter, with extra for greasing
03 - 1 (15.25-ounce) box lemon, yellow, or white cake mix
04 - 2 (21-ounce) cans blueberry pie filling

→ Serving

05 - Add vanilla ice cream if you'd like

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch dish with butter.
02 - Pour the pie filling in first. Cover it evenly with the cake mix. Slice the butter thin and spread it over the mix. Finish with a scattering of blueberries.
03 - Pop it in the oven for about 60-65 minutes. It's done when it’s golden brown, crispy, and bubbling.
04 - Dish it out warm, and top it with some vanilla ice cream if you want.

01 - No need to thaw frozen blueberries
02 - Leave the layers exactly as you build them—don’t mix
03 - Tastes best while still warm
