Berry Mascarpone Layers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Berry Syrup

01 - 1 1/2 cups mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
02 - 3/4 cup white sugar
03 - 1 1/2 cups water

→ Tiramisu

04 - 1 1/2 cups sliced fresh berries
05 - 1 carton of ladyfingers
06 - 2/3 cup powdered sugar
07 - 8 oz mascarpone cheese
08 - 2 cups chilled heavy cream

# Instructions:

01 - Mix sugar and water in a pot, toss in berries, and bring to a gentle boil. Turn it down and simmer for 10 minutes. Let it cool off and strain.
02 - Whip the powdered sugar with the heavy cream until it holds firm peaks. Blend in mascarpone until smooth.
03 - Start with a layer in an 8x8 dish: dip ladyfingers in syrup, add mascarpone mix, then sprinkle sliced berries.
04 - Do another set of layers with the rest of the ladyfingers and the mascarpone blend.
05 - Cover up and let it sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or overnight. Add some fresh berries before serving.

02 - Try it with different fresh berries
03 - Tastes best when served chilled
