Beef Shells Creamy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 8 ounces medium pasta shells
03 - 1 pound ground beef

→ Aromatics & Seasonings

04 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
05 - 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1/2 medium sweet onion, diced

→ Sauce

08 - 6 ounces shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese
09 - Salt and pepper to taste
10 - 3/4 cup heavy cream
11 - 2 cups beef stock
12 - 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Boil water, season it with salt, and cook the pasta until done following the package instructions. Drain and set it aside.
02 - Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the ground beef on medium heat until browned (around 3-5 minutes). Get rid of the extra grease and keep it aside.
03 - Sauté the diced onion until soft and clear. Add the garlic, Italian seasoning, and flour. Stir it continuously for about a minute.
04 - Pour in the beef stock and tomato sauce, then let it cook for 6-8 minutes until it thickens a bit.
05 - Mix in the pasta, browned meat, heavy cream, and cheese. Stir everything together, warm it up, and adjust with salt and pepper as needed.
