In a big skillet, warm up some olive oil over medium heat. Toss in the red onion and sauté for around 2 minutes until tender. Add the garlic next and let it cook just until you can smell it—about half a minute. Mix in the chicken, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and BBQ sauce. Stir it all together and cook for 2-3 minutes until everything’s nice and hot.

In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Pop it in the microwave and warm it until the butter is melted completely.
03 -
Spread out all 12 bread slices on your counter or table. Coat each one with the garlic butter blend. Take half the pieces (6 slices) and place a slice of Havarti cheese on them. Spread the BBQ chicken evenly across these, then add another slice of cheese on top. Finally, cap it off with the remaining slices of bread so the buttered sides are exposed on both the top and bottom.

Heat a large non-stick pan over medium. Place each sandwich in the pan and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, which will take about 3-5 minutes. Flip them over, lower the temperature a bit, and let the other side toast for about 3-5 more minutes until the cheese is gooey and melted.
