Air Fryer Burgers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 hamburger buns.
02 - 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt.
03 - 4 ounces Cheddar cheese, sliced.
04 - Lettuce leaves.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
06 - Sliced tomato.
07 - Sliced red onion.
08 - Cooking spray.
09 - 1 pound ground beef.
10 - 2 tablespoons ketchup.
11 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise.
12 - 2 tablespoons minced pickles.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine ketchup, mayo, and pickles in a bowl. Stick it in the fridge for later.
02 - Split the beef into 3 portions. Flatten them into patties slightly wider than the buns. Press your thumb in the middle to make a small dip.
03 - Dust some salt and pepper on both sides of the patties.
04 - Pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of the air fryer. Spray the basket with cooking spray.
05 - Pop the patties into the air fryer at 350°F for 8 minutes. Toss the cheese on top and let it cook another 1-2 minutes until gooey.
06 - If you'd like, toss the buns in the air fryer for a minute to toast them.
07 - Stack the burgers with sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion on the buns.

# Notes:

01 - No flipping needed while cooking the burgers.
02 - Adding water keeps the air fryer from smoking.
