Crispy Brussels Sprouts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
03 - Pinch of red pepper flakes if you'd like an extra kick.
04 - 12 ounces Brussels sprouts.
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.

# Instructions:

01 - Chop off the stems and peel away any rough outer leaves. Slice each sprout in two from top to bottom.
02 - Pop the halved sprouts into a bowl and pour hot tap water over them. Sit tight for 15 minutes.
03 - Warm up the air fryer to 375°F.
04 - Shake off excess water from the sprouts. Coat them with oil, salt, pepper, and, if you're using it, some red pepper flakes.
05 - Spread the sprouts in one layer inside the air fryer basket. Cook for 12 minutes at 375°F, giving them a shake around the halfway mark.
06 - Move sprouts onto a dish and enjoy while they're crispy and hot.

# Notes:

01 - Soaking helps get rid of bitterness and makes cooking more even.
02 - If your air fryer is small, cook in parts or extend time, shaking often.
